Taken on the dramatic coast near Bermagui NSW. To access this area is not for the feint hearted.  This rugged coastline is known for its treachery. If you are looking for a WOW photo with drama - you cant go past this one.

The story behind the shot...

One of the shots I really wanted to get was Horsehead Rock at Bermagui.
To access it you have to go at low tide.
The tide was going out...which was good...but it wasn't out enough to get around the headland.
Impatient me decided rock climbing was in order - so we climbed over the headland and slid down on our bums to get down to the cove.

But that was just the first cove. There was another headland before you could get to Horsehead Rock. And the water was deeper to get around the headland - waist deep...
So we waited. And of course took photos while we did. That cove was awesome! 

The above photo is the back end of Horsehead Rock. But from this angle it also looks like a horses head!! And the rocks on this side were jagged and beautiful.
With impending darkness we gave up trying to get around to the other side. I was happy with what I had captured anyway so we clambered back over the rocks. Luckily we could now get around the first headland without having to try and scramble back over it. The tide had gone out more.
Despite not getting around to the other side, I still loved this angle of Horsehead rock.
