The story behind the shot...

I went to Cathedral Rocks during the day to scout around. What a stunning place!

But I knew to get the best shot I needed to go at sunset. So we went for a little drive inland aiming to get back for sunset. The only problem was...we got lost. And in an area with no reception. We finally got back into reception and found the road we were looking for but the sun was setting fast!!

As we got back to the beach I had my gear in hand ready to leap from the car. I literally ran down the beach and just managed to get this shot before the colour disappeared from the sky.
